Dr. Berns just returned from 3 days of professional meetings in Atlanta.  The Southern Educational Congress of Optometry offers excellent classes on just about any subject relating to the eye.  This time the classes she took involved:

• Inflammations of the eye (like iritis and uveitis)
• Corneal infections
• The newest in cataract implants
• The latest treatment for kerataconus
• Glaucoma without high pressure
• What’s on the horizon in Contact lenses
• Electronic health records
• How to have the most useful collection of eyeglass frames

It's always good to get a fresh perspective.  And it's always great to come home!
